Frequently Asked Questions
What style of dance are you teaching?
7pm-8pm We start with country partner dancing-- styles like country swing, two step, and waltz. These dances are done with partners.
8PM-11pm Country Line Dance! These dances are not done with partners.
What if I don't know how to dance?
That's totally fine! You don't need to have any experience to attend. Shoot, you can even just go to watch the first time if you want.
The earlier dances in the night are all SUPER beginner friendly, so if you are worried then just get there by 8pm to make sure you start with the easiest dances.
Do I need a partner?
Nope, country line dance isn't done with partners, and if we are partner dancing you'll find plenty of folks to partner with at the lesson.
What should I wear?
Wear whatever is comfortable. Your feet may get stepped on so don't wear new white shoes. You'll find people wearing any number of things ranging from jeans and dress pants, to shorts and skirts. Lots of cowboy boots and daisy dukes, but that's just because of the country style.
Even though we're teaching dance you won't be dancing the whole time. No need for athletic clothing unless you feel like it. Also our air conditioning is amazing, you're more likely to be chilly than sweaty.
What is the parking situation?
Lots of free parking in the residential streets nearby (Greenwood ave & Drewry st)
Is this event only for ages 21 and up?
You must be 21 or older to attend, and bring your ID because they card!
I have questions, who should I contact?
You can email wilder@reframed.market.
