Wilder has a fun Tuesday contradance! The community is fun, social & growing.

And there’s another weekly opportunity to contra dance. Live music every Friday night at Decatur Rec. 7:30 lesson, Dance begins at 8:00.

I've only been to one social so far, but looking forward to attending more. I brought friends for an impromptu girls night out and we had a great time! As a former dancer and dance teacher, Wilder does a really good job connecting with his students in a no-pressure-just-go-with-it-and-have-fun kind of way, not to mention he really knows his stuff! If you're on the fence--- just go, meet cool people, and don't worry about what your dancing looks like!

You won't be disappointed. The teacher, Chris, is very entertaining and makes learning how to dance so much fun. I first attended several months ago as a newbie and had so much fun and confidence instilled in me that I've been going back almost every week since then. I also love meeting so many new and interesting people at each class. And I'm not the only one who feels this way; there are several other folks just like me who keep going back every week. And if you like beer, this place has the best! Keep up the good work!

Contra is not quite what I expected, but dancing in lines with strangers to live music is very fun! I was pleasantly surprised. The venue itself lends greatly to a small band too. We also took breaks to learn a simple waltz in between group dances. Big fan of this one. I'll be coming again!

Chris (Glover Park -Marietta) is an amazing teacher!! I have tried beginner dance lessons at several studios around Atlanta, but none were as practically taught, fun and easy to understand. Additionally none had a social break either. The crowd is incredibly diverse which added to the lively / friendly vibe. I can’t wait to go back next week!

I'm no longer shy and two left feet. There is hope for us people that are good at math! I can now walk up to anyone and get to know them.

Fun, fun, fun

My husband and I have been three times now and have learned so much. Chris is a great teacher who teaches at. a pace that is perfect for beginners but fun for more advanced dancers as well. Taught upstairs at GP which is the perfect venue for ballroom lessons with the large hardwood floor dancing area and ambient lighting. Looking forward to next Tuesday's session!

This was so much fun!

On a cold, rainy night in Decatur, GA, REFRAMED provided an easy and pleasant hang. Gifted local guitarists provided ambient music and a friendly while diverse crowd gathered for excellent local brews and cocktails.

Such a great environment!

I have now taking two classes at the Trolley Barn with Reframed. Both were a joy. The instruction is generous and kind with a good dose of humor. There were both beginners and experienced dancers in the room and all was well. Looking forward to the next class.

Fantastic

I am a complete beginner (like almost *everybody* at the dance lesson) and at first I didn't think I would like trading partners throughout the lesson. I thought it would be awkward and uncomfortable and definitely NOT my preference ... but after coming to several weeks of lessons with my wife we are having more fun than ever! Trading partners is actually what MAKES these lessons work! I learn how to become a better leader and my wife learns how to become a better follower, and then when we dance with each other it all comes together like magic. =) Wilder is an amazing dance instructor, so laidback and so knowledgeable.
